How did you get on with the chart symbol interpretation?

Here are my thoughts.

Picture (a)

left to right (seabed symbols)
Red - Foul area, not dangerous to surface navigation but to be avoided by vessels anchoring, trawling etc. (possibly the remains of a wreck or cleared platform)
Dark blue - Wreck, position and depth unknown but considered potentially dangerous to surface navigation
Orange - Rock which covers and uncovers height above chart datum is 0.6m
Purple - Wreck over which the depth has been obtained by sounding not by wire sweep

Picture b (nature of the seabed)

Left to right
Purple - course sand broken shells
Dark blue - mud broken shells
Red - broken shells medium sand gravel
Green - broken shells silt

Picture c (nature of seabed and light)

left to right
green - fine sand pebbles broken shells week (including kelp)
Red - flash every 20 seconds, 34m high, could be seen for 20 nautical miles in optimum conditions.

The publication is a book rather than a chart but it is called chart 5011
If you managed to cover all that - well done
